The District of Peachland\’s Healthy Watershed Committee met on June 23, 2021.Among the topics discussed were the upcoming logging referrals by BC Timber Sales, and a follow up to the unanswered \”pause\” letter sent to Minister Doug Donaldson, for which the District to date, has had no reply.
The committee sent a response to BC Timber Sales, opposing their logging plans. as well the committee is addressing the non-response from Donaldson, now Katrine Conroy\’s office.
We will post that reply next month, but Minister Conroy has appeared too busy to reply to any constituents letters lately!
