Peachland’s watershed in the news

The Narwhal recently featured Peachland’s request to the province to pause logging in our watershed. A PWPA presentation prompted Mayor Fortin’s letter to Minister Donaldson to halt the issuance of new logging permits in this area, citing concerns about cumulative impacts on our water quality and the tremendous costs residents have to bear for upgrading water treatment facilities.
