My Observations

Date: April 25, 2024 @10:00 am

Area: Somewhere above Eneas Creek, off Munro Lake FSR

Temperature: 8C, if it was that.

Weather: Overcast with light rain

Visibility: Excellent

Conditions: Cool and damp (finally!)

Observations: Wanted to see where this road went. Not sure what this part of the Munro Lake FRS is called, I couldn’t find a name, but it is a spur off the FSR the goes south towards Summerland. I ended up on top of this lovely flat bench area that at one time had been logged….and then wildfire found it. Despite all that, I found it quite beautiful and peaceful! I was waaay above Eneas Creek, looking into its drainage, I could see everywhere! I found so many cool things to look at, the only thing I wish I could add to this report is the smell of the light rain, and the sounds of all the birds! This area has lots of mammal traffic as evidenced by the trail offerings, but the only wildlife I saw were 3 grouse!

Rating: Excellent
