My Observations\u00a0<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Date:<\/strong> April 21, 2024 @12:00 pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Area:<\/strong> Somewhere to the left of Brenda Mines Road, following \u201cAspen Grove\u201d Road – 10km loop back to the truck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Temperature:<\/strong> 8C, if it was that with the strong, bitter wind!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weather:<\/strong> High overcast and sun<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visibility:<\/strong> Excellent<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conditions: <\/strong>dampened by a little bit of rain overnight, but overall dry forest!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Observations:<\/strong> I have always wondered where the \u201cAspen Grove\u201d Road went, and I kinda figured that it would connect to the spot where I cross country ski: \u201cFir Lane\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The point where I got my bike, the road was decommissioned, and sporadically along the whole road was the same. No one is driving here, I have only seen foot traffic! But coming from the other direction I did notice quad tracks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I passed through a lot of clear cut areas which appear to have been left to recover on their own. I could be wrong, but all the new growth seemed pretty random. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think I succeeded in getting my 4 legged team all tired today!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have been wrong before, I was wrong again! NOT a trail. Ended up bushwacking, then carrying my bike through a cut block until I hit another 4×4 road. I knew exactly where I was tho!\nTurns out that I ended up where i was expecting to!\n<\/em><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
