My Observations

Date: April 18, 2024 @09:00 am

Area: Somewhere on the other side of Greata Creek,,,,,

Temperature: 11C

Weather: High overcast and sun

Visibility: Excellent

Conditions: dry, dry, dry

Observations: As usual I can never seem to decide on where the adventure of the day is until I get out of my truck. I could be anywhere and everywhere. (Insert angry comments here). But that is the beauty of my style of adventures, I go wherever I am led.

Today I thought I was going to snoop around the Glen Lake Post-Fire Logging/Cleanup, when I saw a road that I haven’t been on, so what better time is there than now to find out?

The road leads off the one that goes up to all the logging areas and follows Greata Creek but on the other side. Heading back towards Great Camp. This road was properly decommissioned, definitely no one is passing through here other than on foot (as evidenced by the footprints and trail camera I found – yes I posed for a shot!).

Rating: Excellent
