Area: Upper Moose Poop Loop, 5km loop

Temperature: -5C

Weather: High overcast and sun

Visibility: Excellent

Conditions: Fluffy, light and slow fresh snow about 1” new, untouched snow from the last cycle, some light breakable crust in spots that may have had some sun.

Observations: Back to the Upper Moose Poop area. This time went along the Moose Poop Loop.

Beautiful conditions! A lovely ski day, lots of old tracks. I couldn’t believe how many bunny tracks are in this area! There were moose tracks as well, but quite old, from before the last snow. Old deer, coyote and cat, but really hard to be 100% sure as they were all quite old. We saw a big white bunny running through the trees!!

Rating: Excellent
