Get familiar with your watershed, the place that provides all the water for Peachland! Visit two stunning wilderness locations and paint them!
Acclaimed local artist and art educator, Wayne Power leads this all day inspirational painting workshop. From selecting your source images from natural areas in the watershed, to tapping into your imagination to paint your scene back at Heritage Park.
We will visit two forest locations, to capture sources, get ideas, and sketch, photograph or do some loose painting of the abundant subject matter as your preliminary source material. We return to Heritage Park in downtown Peachland for lunch and PAINTING!!
Meet at the parking lot at Hardy Falls.
The Hardy Falls trail follows Deep Creek to a beautiful waterfall. It is a short and accessible trail with abundant temperate vegetation traversing many foot-crossing bridges.
2. Trepanier Creek Greenway
This upper trail is level and stretches along Trepanier Creek. It offers a serene hike through natural Okanagan conifer-deciduous forests and various flora.
Outdoor Painting Venue:
