One man\’s experience with a proposed toxic sewage sludge \”biosolids\” operation in his community

Join us to hear Aaron Sumexheltza, former Chief and now Councillor of the Lower Nicola Indian Band, and practicing lawyer, as he presents his story about a toxic sewge sludge operation in his community.

This is a PWPA special meeting to bring some context and background information to the recent application to establish an industrial-scale toxic sewage sludge or \”biosolids composting\” operation in Peachland\’s watershed – the source of our drinking water.

This meeting will be held on
Thursday June 24, 2021, 7:00 pm
at the Little Schoolhouse in Peachland, 1898 Brandon Lane.

All COVID health orders will be followed. Contact tracing info, masks and hand sanitizer are required.  Seating will be limited. Unfortunately we are unable to Zoom this presentation, but we are video recording it for future viewing.  To save your seat please email us at peachlandwpa@gmail.com.
