2022 Annual Spring Cleanup

It\’s become an annual event! And it\’s back for 2022!

We are splitting this year\’s cleanup into 2 parts:

1) the watershed/back country cleanup to remove old cars, appliances, illegally dumped garbage etc. along the trails and campsites in the watershed. Gloves, bags, etc provided by RDCO. BBQ hots dogs for all participants, at noon courtesy of Peachland Lions.

2)NEW for 2022 – the downtown cleanup, along Beach Ave, the beach, and laneways to get the town ready for summer outdoor activities. This is a perfect activity for families with young kids, people who don\’t want to be in the wilderness, or those of you who just prefer to spend time looking at the lake. Refreshments will be available.

If you\’d like to help as an organizing volunteer pleas contact us. If you just want to clean up, just show up on the 30th – meet up locations: Downtown behind The Edgewater Pub, and watershed location, up Princeton at the cattle-guard – old dumpsite.
