Conditions: A beautiful day until…

Observations: I like to snoop around our watershed and see what is going on….!

Well, there goes the neighborhood…

So how many Forest Service Roads do we really need?

Aren’t there enough Forest Service Roads all over our watershed already?

When is enough…..enough?

It was hard to miss this devastaion…right beside the FSR along Glen Lake

The slash line goes straight up the mountain as far as I could see. Better check it out.

Nasty pile of wasted wood.

When you compare the waste pile to my doggos, it’s pretty darn big!

The forest still tries to recover despite the best efforts of Lumber Companies…

“Restore”?? Pfffft! For reals?

And it goes and goes… My pictures can’t show you just how steep this terrain is…I wonder what will give in runoff time or during a heavy rain storm…

You have to look, but you can find it!

“Restore” the stream Crossing? Are you effing kidding me?? Little late now dontcha think?

So disheartening…

They will destroy anything…these deciduous trees are so important, as all all the trees.

Do we really need another FSR? There are so many!

Pretty much at this point, I had enough. Looking straigh down the FSR cut line (I’d like to see what the heck will be driving straight up this propsed road….)

I gave up hiking up more. I ad seen enough! Looking straight up. It just keeps going….
