B’s Watershed Watch Update November 15, 2024

November 15, 2024 by Barb H

Barb Haley, Watershed Watch Chair

My Observations

Date: November 15, 2024 @0900am

Area: Glen Lake area

Temperature: 2C

Weather: Sun and clouds

Visibility: Perfect

Conditions: Crispy!

Observations: Always willing to check out places I’ve never been to!

There goes the neighborhood …. Part II!

At the beginning of October, I happened across a future planed Forest Service Road just past the south end of Glen Lake.

Well it looks like I found yet another Planned Forest Service road that is directly BEHIND Glen Lake and looks like it will connect with the road I found at the south end.

Today’s road I found comes off of the road(s) that access the previously pillaged area above Glen lake, a part of the Forest fire from September 2023 and the Fire “Mitigation”.

At this point, Glen Lake will eventually be completely surrounded by FSR’s!
