Observations: Definitely Spring! At this time of day the snow had softened up as expected. Soft and fast in the open, sketchy and frozen under the trees.

I was still able to stay on top the of old crust most of the time, so I deviated from the regular Fir Lane trail and cut through the cut blocks to meander by way back towards my truck so I could stay off the road.

We came across old moose tracks again today, and also old bobcat tracks as well!
