B’s Watershed Watch Update January 12, 2026

January 14, 2026 by Barb H

Barb Haley, Watershed Watch Chair

My Observations

Date:  January 12, 2026 @ 0900

Area: Brenda Mines Road, shortcut via old clear cut to Suzie’s Pond

Temperature: +0C

Weather: Light fog, clear

Wind: Calm

Visibility: Very good

Conditions: Heavy snow

Observations: Quick little slide over to Suzie’s Pond today! About 2 km round trip. Hard to say really, but it doesn’t look like there is a lot of snow at the moment. I haven’t been in the deeper backcountry until now because I was on the injury bench since the end of September. I’ll tell ya, I’m glad to be out and about again! The doggos are super happy be have their usual adventures back!
