My Observations

Conditions: Spring-like, and dry…..

Observations: Did a little scouting drive, hoping to follow a logging truck into where ever they are pulling loads of logs out from.

No luck, but in a span of 6 km or so along the Headwaters Road, I saw 4! areas marked for future cutblocks!!

RIght beside the road. Is it just easy pickings for some company to clear cut more of our watershed? Or are they select logging/thinning?

Time will tell I guess…..

1st block I came across, heading towards Peachland – around km 11, looking towards Greata Creek

2nd block as I kept going towards Peachland, this one is on the high side of the road.

3rd one slong the way, still heading towards Peachland, on the high side of the road.

This last one is just before Greata Camp on the Greata Creek side again.
