The feamle part of the plant are the green finger like structures.
The male part of the plant is the brownish umbrella like structure.
These are called “gametangiophores” which is “asexual reporoduction”.
Medicinal uses: historically thought to rememdy liver ailments and a strong fungicidal capability to treat skin and nail fungi.

Common Liverwort or Umbrella Liverwort.
Frequently the first vegetation to appear post forest fire. The exposed mineral soil and high lime concentration is favorable to the liverwort. Growing rpaidly, it can cover the entire site and is important to the prevention of soil erosion, also renewing the quality of the soil to thepoint where other vegetation can be re-established. Once this occurs, common liverwort can no longer complete with the original vegetation in the area!
